Sunday, May 24th, 10am-10:10am MST
1) First, relax and allow yourself to rest. Let go of any tension or resistance. Consider something, anything that brings you joy. Think of your favorite flower or the best day of your life and be there with it again in that moment.
2) As you are conjuring this memory, pay close attention to your body and how it feels as you are thinking about this joyful object or event.
3) Observe these feelings of joy in your body and begin to focus your attention on the feeling of joy itself.
4) Allow this feeling to grow throughout your body and feel your joy grow larger and larger with every breath.
5) Breathe and focus on this state of being joy for 5 minutes.
6) Allow yourself to open your eyes to the world still feeling that joy and lightness. Bring that feeling into your day and into the world. Try to bring it up as often as you can to promote more of a habit of experiencing joy.
Change the neurostructure of your brain by practicing these steps for very brief periods (even one minute has great benefits!).
Meditate on Sunday May 24th at 10am wherever you are along with many others at the same time to bring about the energy of many loving and caring individuals who want to create more joy in the world and be more joyful in their day to day lives.
